PACE Group Mentorship Program

November 01, 2022

Partnerships to Advance Careers in Endocrinology

The Endocrine Society offers a group mentorship program where experienced members provide career advice to early career members and trainees.

The program offers opportunities to join virtual meetings where mentors provide support to small groups. Mentors will advise fellows, trainees, students, and early career members on a variety of professional development topics. DocMatter, the Society’s member-exclusive online community, will also serve as a space for mentees and mentors to engage in discussion forums.

Discussion topics may include:

  • Applying for fellowships and grants
  • Writing manuscripts
  • Journal editorial opportunities
  • Applying for promotions
  • Work-life balance
  • Leadership skills
  • Clinic skills
  • Research skills

Because of the group format, mentors are not required to work with mentees in a one-on-one capacity or answer every question that arises. Mentors will simply contribute when they have an interest or expertise on the topic.

If you are interested in participating as a mentee or mentor please email [email protected] for more information.
