The Future of Endocrinology Competition 

The Endocrine Society recognizes the importance of supporting students and prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the academic experience. We are excited to announce a new competition that will help future endocrinologists and scientists learn about the field and network with the world’s leading experts! 

Whether you are interested in practicing medicine or conducting research, the field of endocrinology has opportunities for you. Endocrinologists and scientists can specialize in:

  • Diabetes and metabolism
  • Endocrine oncology
  • Endocrinology nuclear medicine
  • Transgender medicine
  • Gender reassignment
  • Neuroendocrinology
  • Pediatric endocrinology
  • Reproductive endocrinology
  • Thyroid disease
  • Health disparity

Are you interested in making a difference in these areas? If so, we encourage you to apply for the 2023 Future of Endocrinology Competition! To apply, simply record a brief video of why you are interested in endocrinology and why you would like to attend our annual conference, ENDO 2023. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies, graduate school, medical school, or a new resident or postdoc. Chicago area students and members who identify as underrepresented in medicine are encouraged to apply.

By submitting a video or written text, you give the Endocrine Society permission to share your submission on our website and social media channels.

Dr. Antentor Othrell Hinton, Jr. is on tenure track to become Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University. He has mentored 70 graduate, medical, postbac students, undergraduate students, medical residents, and postdoc fellows, and was awarded three University-wide awards for mentorship and an organizational mentorship award.
